Having worked in senior communications roles for most of my career, and co-directed a PR agency, I chose to become a freelance and interim communications consultant, so I could help many other businesses achieve their communications goals.

During this time I've had the great opportunity to work with The Access Group, the UK's leading providers of software to mid-market business, supporting them with messaging and session planning for their 2018 business conference.

Sometimes there are projects that require some external support to in-house teams. Slimming World requested freelance PR support to help them create a campaign behind their new Slim for Life plan for national, regional and consumer media.

Walgreens Boots Alliance required interim support to help them lead and deliver employee campaigns for Boots UK, including their national recognition award scheme.

And Just For Tummies, a range of probiotics and digestive/gut health supplements made in the UK, that required PR support to re-launch the 14-strong range to consumer media.

Prior to becoming a consultant, I worked for International Retail (WBA) and the International Communications Platform (the internal communications agency to WBA), broadening my skill base into project management, change communications, event management and digital communications.  I've also co-directed a Nottingham-based boutique PR & Marketing agency working with brands such as high-street retailer Wilko.
